Skin in the Saudi Summer
Fifty-degree afternoons are hard on skin. A few adjustments keep it healthy until autumn.
Sunscreen is not optional
Use SPF 50, apply fifteen minutes before leaving, and reapply every two hours outdoors. Darker skin tones burn less but still photo-age and still develop pigmentation.
Heat rash and fungal infections
Sweat trapped under synthetic fabrics causes both. Choose cotton, shower after exercise, and dry skin folds thoroughly.
When a mole needs a doctor
Asymmetry, irregular borders, colour change, diameter over 6 mm, or any evolution - one of these earns a dermatology visit. Most concerns turn out benign, and the reassurance is worth the checkup.
