Using an asthma inhaler with a spacer

Why a spacer?

A spacer helps more medicine reach the lungs instead of the mouth.

1. Shake the inhaler and attach it to the spacer.
2. Breathe out, seal your lips around the mouthpiece.
3. Press once and take 5 slow breaths.
4. Wait 30 seconds before a second puff.
